Diversion & Alternative Sentencing
Not every case needs to end in a conviction. Where appropriate, we position clients for PC 1000 diversion, Proposition 36, Mental Health Diversion under PC 1001.36, and Veterans Court. These programs can replace incarceration with treatment — and in many cases, lead to a complete dismissal of all charges.

Law enforcement is trained to gather evidence — not protect you. Anything you say can and will be used against you, even if you believe you are helping your case. Invoke your right to remain silent immediately and ask for an attorney. Say nothing else.

Daniel S. Rubin founded Rubin Law, P.C. with a single goal: providing superior criminal defense to people who need it most. Over the last decade, Daniel has litigated and resolved more than 200 cases — from confidential federal fraud investigations to DUI defense, domestic violence allegations, and serious felony charges. He is a native Angelino and a second-generation criminal defense attorney who has spent his career learning how Los Angeles courts work from the inside.
